Slash was made in 3 days, for the Wowie jam 3.
Tools Used
I used my own java game engine and Boscaceoil for sounds. (Don't Have Sounds Yet Might Remove)
How To Play
Goal:
Get The Highest Final Score You Can
Controls:
WASD - Move
Space - Swing
General:
If you run out of health, you lose, you lose health by getting hit by orange enemies.
If you are hit by a yellow enemy, your current score is added to your final score, but you die: your combo is reset and your health is reset
Swinging:
When you swing, your trail from behind you is shot in the direction that you are moving, any enemies that are hit, die, and you get points for your current score.
Orange Enemies - 5 Points
Yellow Enemies - 25 Points
UI:
The Top Number - Final Score
The Bottom Number - Current Score
Red Bar - Health

Install instructions
JAR:
Download the jar, double click it, play! (You Must Have Java Installed)
EXE:
Download the exe, double click it, play! (You Must Have Java Installed)
Embedded Java:
Much bigger file, but if you are having issues with the jar, or the exe, this should work. Just download it, extract, run the exe, sometimes it won't run, you need to run it from command prompt

it says "this file can harm your device"
yes, all file types that could contain a virus give that message, if you want to avoid it, download the zips.
its probably cuz it's a java file which can move ur mouse and more so how do i know this is not virus tho?
pretty much any game can do that, it's just they are shipped in zips so it doesn't give the warning, actually, they are probably more dangerous because some games require administrator permission. itch scans every file uploaded for viruses
